Our community lost a great friend, Richard LeBlanc, to pancreatic cancer on July 13, 2020. Rich’s friend, co-workers and family are collecting money to form a scholarship in Rich’s memory, for students who wish to pursue an engineering degree. If you wish to donate to this fund, please go to the “Donate” page, make your donation, and annotate on the donation that it is for the Richard LeBlanc scholarship fund.
Once we receive the donations, we will be working with Rich’s wife Debbie, to determine all of the criteria. This scholarship will begin in 2021. If you need an additional receipt beyond what the Donate button provides, please email us using the email@example.com email, and we will get you a more detailed receipt.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Debbie, and Rich’s friends, family and co-workers.
Supporting Community Families Touched by Cancer
The Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation (GCCF) is a non-profit foundation whose sole mission is to support the citizens of South Lake County as they cope with the emotional and financial aspects of dealing with cancer. GCCF is not affiliated with any other area or national organization and we strive to provide services not available from those groups. Our service area is the South Lake County community including Clermont, Minneola, Howey-in-the-Hills, Montverde, Groveland and Mascotte and the surrounding South Lake County area.
